The Howler Light works with iPhones newer than the iPhone 4. Apple added Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE, also known as Bluetooth Smart) in the iPhone 4S and above. Our app works on all iPhones from the 4S to the iPhone X. It will also work on iPads that have BLE.
